Our Process

#1. Submit an Inquiry Below.

This allows us to learn a little bit more about what you are looking for, see if we’re available to cover your wedding, check if we fit in your budget, and allow us to answer any immediate questions you have.

If you don’t feel like reading all of these, just skip to the bottom of the page, and submit your inquiry.

#2. Schedule a Call.

If everything looks good on both ends, and you’re considering us as your videography vendor, we will then set up a call or in-person meeting to go more in depth about our packages and services.

We’ll share a bit about who we are, and our team first, and then dive into the packages and services we offer. If you decide on a package at that time, we can then move on to booking the date. If you need time to discuss it with each other, we will conclude the call, and wait for your decision.

One thing we will never do is any high-pressure sales tactics, as we know this is a big decision.

We understand that this experience isn’t for everyone. So if it isn’t a good fit, we will wish you the best and part ways. Even if you end up going another direction, we still highly recommend checking out our free wedding tips in our blog to save you from making the same mistakes we’ve seen made when planning a wedding.

We’ve taken the time to narrow down our best advice, so you can plan the perfect wedding day!

#3. Make It Official.

Once you’ve decided on the package and any additional services you’d like, we’ll then send over a customized digital service agreement. Once you’ve read and signed that, all that’s left to make it official is to complete payment of the 50% booking deposit. For payments, we accept Zelle Pay, Venmo, mailed check, credit card, and even cash (only in-person).

Once payment is completed, your date will be officially reserved for your wedding film!

#4. Tailor Your Wedding Film Experience.

Now that you’ve booked your package, we will finalize your choices on the filming style, music choice, and aesthetic of your wedding film. We’ll review the wedding details you have so far, and see if there are any moments apart from the usual formalities that you’d like filmed (or not to be filmed).

We’ll also go over our recommendations for when to schedule certain parts of the day, how to work with the venue and photographer to get the best lighting environment for your wedding, and hype you up for the big day!

#5. Send the Schedule and Final Deposit.

At about 3 - 6 weeks from your wedding day, it is time to finalize your wedding day schedule and send that over to us with the specific timeframe of the day that you’d like covered. If we haven’t finalized the timeframe of coverage yet, and you need our advice for that, we’d are happy to help. Typically with 6 or 7 hours of coverage, as in our lower tier packages, it mostly comes down to whether you’d like us prioritize the “getting ready” shots or the post-dinner, reception formalities (first dance, parent dances, cake-cutting, etc). Although there are ways to squeeze a lot into 6 or 7 hours most of the time, most couples typically opt for more coverage later in the evening rather than earlier in the morning. On top of that, we are able to re-enact many of the “getting ready” later in the day if need be.

At this time, we will also send over some logistical information for the wedding day regarding our portable microphones for capturing ceremony and toast audio, vendor meals, and other vendor information.

#6. Enjoy Your Wedding Day!

At this point, all your planning is done (hopefully!)

It’s now time to relax, stay present, and enjoy the day. Let your wedding vendors do what they do best. Our video team will arrive to the location or venue at least 30 minutes early to set up. If we haven’t been to the venue or location before, we will also use this time to scope it out for our shots. If drone footage is included in your package, we’ll arrive at least an hour early to make sure we get some great drone shots before things get rolling in case there’s less time to fly it later in the day. We’ll then come say “Hi” to both of you, as well as to the photographer, DJ, and coordinator. We typically work closely with all three of them. We always do our best to become friends and be team-players with the other vendors so that everything goes smoothly throughout the day to make it the best experience for you.

We cover all the main moments listed in the schedule, with the exception of some of family photos (unless requested), as typically video footage of family standing still for a photo is redundant and shots of cocktail hour, guests mingling, and little details of the decor typically are better uses of our time. That pretty much sums it up!

#7. Hang Tight, It Will Be Worth the Wait.

We will edit your wedding film as fast as we possibly can without compromising its quality. Typically, it takes anywhere from two to six weeks for delivery. Speed of delivery will vary depending on the package, and due to the custom-tailored nature of crafting each wedding film.

#8. Enjoy Your Wedding Film!

At last, your wedding film has arrived—now the challenge is to watch it without crying!

Enjoy it, download it, and share it with friends and family however you’d like.

Please note that we only take a limited amount of clients each season so as to preserve our standard of excellence and the integrity of our work.
